Our natural surroundings and how we protect its beauty are a high priority for Team Oaklands. For us to preserve our environment we invest a lot of thought, time and money to getting the best, most green solutions.

The Grand Lodge is constructed using local contractors and locally grown timber to keep the carbon footprint of the building as low as possible, and so ensuring that the building blends into its current environment perfectly.

The heating and hot water is produced using the most up to date and efficient ground sourced heat pump.  This combined with state-of-the-art insulation, will give The Grand Lodge an extremely low carbon footprint.

The construction of the building will have used approximately 200 trees which we will replace by planting a new oak woodland adding to the 150,000 trees already surrounding Oaklands.
