As well as offering face to face planning meetings, we have an online portal with an array of useful information dedicated to assisting you each step of the way.

Catering

We have a fully fitted kitchen for your caterer to hire, catering is not included. You will need to source your own catering. However, we can offer advice and have a list of suitable suppliers.

There is a fee for caterers to hire our kitchen and they must  agree to our terms and conditions.
We work with a range of suppliers, giving you the flexibility to create your bespoke day. We have a list we can share with you, available on request. 

Crockery, cutlery and linens – you will need to source these through your caterer or other suppliers.

Green Credentials

The Grand Lodge and the accommodation lodges were designed to look like they have grown in their natural environment amongst the trees. The heating and hot water is produced using the most up to date and efficient ground source heat pump. This, combined with state of-the-art insulation, gives the venue an extremely low carbon footprint.

What an amazing place. Total attention has been given to every detail. The huge outside area is stunning: which starts with a beautiful drive down a tree lined lane - then opens up to give the full view of this venue. It’s one of those places - that brings out such positive emotions.
The wood and glass of the venue building …. Is breath taking. Architecturally - it is faultless. Walk inside and you are blown away. I imagine everyone who has had the privilege of being invited to an event here …. will remember how the day made them feel forever. For me: my favourite moment was when I walked across the bridge over the lake, then turned back towards the venue building …. took my breath away. Filled me with positivity and that “can do anything” way of feeling. Splendid day!

Oaklands Wedding Venue… wow. Just wow.
After 16 years shooting weddings all over the UK, I finally had the privilege of photographing my first wedding at Oaklands – and it was worth every second of the wait. The venue is simply stunning. Perfectly nestled between Brandesburton and Driffield on the banks of the River Hull, surrounded by a gorgeous lake, rustic lodges, and breathtaking countryside scenery – it is without doubt a truly special place for a wedding celebration.
